Preamble

In this document, "the app" refers to Optimem, a smartphone and watch application for learning new information.

"Users" or "you" applies to people who have installed and use the Optimem app.

"We" / "us" / "our" refers to Organic Software LLC, which is the company who develops and maintains the Optimem app.

If we make any significant changes to our privacy policy, we will notify you via messages in-app, email, or another clear means.

What data is collected

We may collect some data as you use the app. This is collected solely towards: (1) providing essential functionality, (2) resolving issues with the app that arise, and (3) understanding, in aggregate, how people use the app, so that we may improve it.

Data collected may include:

• IP addresses and times connected to our servers
• Anonymized behavior within the app (e.g. which pages are visited, which buttons are pressed, etc.)
• Marketplace views and downloads (e.g. when a new pack is downloaded)

All in-app data collected is anonymized, and not connected to any personal information, unless you explicitly provide it to us (such as for contact in a bug report).

Your data rights

We believe in ethical data collection and processing practices.

We will never sell, rent, or lease your data to third parties. You may opt-out of data collection where applicable, see the "Settings" menu.

We try to avoid collecting or storing personal, sensitive data (such as device IDs, location, name, email, etc.) unless you explicitly share it with us.

We do not collect or share any data towards cross-site tracking, or tracking of any kind that goes beyond our services.

In using our apps or services, you may come into contact with other third-party services, which may have different data handling policies than described here.

Consumer privacy rights apply to you, such as GDPR and CCPA, depending on your location. You may write us or local data protection supervisory authority if you have questions related to this.
